Due to its combined degreasing/deodorizing ability makes it an excellent choice for maintaining drains, grease traps, and other sewer/septic applications as well as for treating dumpsters, trash receptables, sewer plants, garbage trucks, and more.
To be used in cleaning plants, for industrial waste, garbage disposal areas, kennels, stables, septic tanks and on dead animals, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and any cafeteria where they have a grease trap. It is used to control grease and odor in grease traps, sewer lines and waste treatment plants. It is an excellent general purpose, heavy duty industrial degreaser and tar and asphalt remover for shops, maintenance, and plant applications.
Ideal uses for this product include degreasing concrete floors, equipment, trucks, motors, and metal surfaces. It is safe for use on many plastics, glass, and a variety of painted surfaces. This product will remove most resins, adhesives, printing inks, decals, dirt and soil, and most petroleum based substances such as tar, asphalt, grease, oil, and even rubber tire marks.
For general cleaning ::: --- When mixing with water, always allow time for a uniform emulsion to be formed as evidenced by a milky white changing of color. Surface Degreasing: Dilute with water 2-4 ounces per gallon and apply by brushing, spraying or mopping. Allow solution to stand for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. You may dilute 16 ounces (pint) of product per gallon of water and apply by brushing, spraying or mopping. Allow solution to stand for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
For removal of stubborn spots / Heavy Duty Cleaning :::--- Apply undiluted and rinse off with water. Spot Cleaning of Stubborn Soil/Tar and Asphalt Removal: Apply product undiluted by spraying or wiping onto surface. Brush or agitate if required and repeat as necessary. Wipe clean with shop cloth and/or rinse thoroughly with water.
Odor Control:::--- Dilute with water 2 ounces per gallon and apply by brushing, spraying or mopping.
Drain Cleaning:::--- Apply product undiluted 6-8 ounces directly into the drain. Let stand for 1 to 2 hours. Flush drain with hot water.

Acute Effects
Orange terpenes have been shown to have low oral toxicity (LD50>5 g/kg) and low dermal toxicity (LD50> 5g/kg) when tested on rabbits. Orange terpenes also showed low toxicity by inhalation (RD50>1 g/kg) when tested on mice. The skin irritancy of limonene in guinea pigs and rabbits is considered moderate and low, respectively. Inhalation may cause irritation of the nose, throat, and respiratory tract. Petroleum Spirits are minimally toxic orally (LD50 > 10000 mg/kg) and are minimally toxic on skin (LD50 > 3160 mg/kg).
Chronic Effects
D-Limonene is not classified as a carcinogen by OSHA, IARC, ACGIH or NTP. This product has not been shown to produce genetic changes when tested on bacterial or animal cells. This product does not contain known reproductive or developmental toxins. Prolonged or repeated exposure can cause drying or dermatitis of skin. Improper storage and handling may lead to the formation of a possible skin sensitizer. Vapor/aerosol concentrations for petroleum spirits above recommended exposure levels are irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract, may cause headaches, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, unconsciousness and other central nervous system effects including death. Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact with low viscosity materials may defat the skin resulting in possible irritation and dermatitis. Small amounts of liquid aspirated into the lungs during ingestion or from vomiting may cause chemical pneumonitis or pulmonary edema
Ecotoxicity: There is no information available at this time for D-limonene. However, a spill may produce significant toxicity to aquatic organisms and ecosystems. Sonic studies have shown that certain bacteria and fungi have the ability to degrade terpenes, decreasing their toxicity to fish. When spilled, this product may act as an oil, causing a film, sheen, emulsion or sludge at or beneath the surface of a body of water.
