Technical Bulletin
Description : Attapulgite Clay is also known as Salt Water Clay. It coats the sides of the holes, which prevents leaks and cave-ins. It helps in continuous drilling without having to bail out the cuttings from the bottom of the well. It cleans the bits and carries cuttings (pieces of soil and rock back to the surface). It meets API 13A specifications.
Application :
It can be used to build viscosity in drilling fluids having a high salt concentration. It is used to increase the viscosity and suspension properties.
