Silica gels comes in 3 main types: A, B, and C. Type-A is a narrow pore gel with pore openings of approximately 28 angstroms while B-Type Silica Gel Contains large pores, having a very high capacity at very high humidity and is used for moisture control also. Type B adsorbs water vapor at very high humidity and releases it at very low humidity.
